Jesse Caulfield

Jesse Caulfield is the founder, President and owner of Key Bridge Global LLC.

Mr. Caulfield specializes in long-range, over-the-horizon, and complex technology-related projects that require market insight, business strategy, technological depth and the leadership and skill to manage their execution.

Mr. Caulfield founded Key Bridge in 2001 as a professional services company to capitalize on his experience building and operating international broadband, multi-service IP networks.

Comcast, an early customer, retained Key Bridge to design and deploy their North East Optical Network, Comcast’s first multi-market IP backbone, and Mr. Caulfield proceeded to support the design, build, test and early deployments of Comcast’s first converged broadband IP network supporting broadcast video, video-on-demand, voice telephony and high-speed Internet access.

In 2005, Mr. Caulfield expanded the company’s offered service portfolio to include software product development and strategy consulting, and extended the company’s marketing to include Government and Military customers. Since then, Key Bridge has executed a number of unique and visionary projects for commercial and government customers, including distributed information assurance and network intrusion detection technologies for the US Air Force; autonomous detection of small unmanned aerial vehicles with the US Army; geostationary hosted payload program management for Intelsat; business, product and marketing strategy supporting for space-based IP router technologies for Cisco Systems.

Most recently, Mr. Caulfield has led Key Bridge’s research and development efforts related to cognitive radio systems, dynamic spectrum access, spectrum sensing and the company’s proposal before the FCC to administer the TV bands “White Spaces”.
