White Space
On January 26, 2011 the Key Bridge solution team was conditionally designated a TV bands database administrator. We applaud the Federal Communication Commission's important milestone for implementing creative and flexible strategies of dynamic spectrum access and sharing starting with the TV broadcast bands. We look forward to working with the FCC and the other conditionally designated administrators in the coming weeks and months to make this undertaking a runaway success.
Upcoming Dates and Events:
- February 28, 2011: Amendments to verify compliance with all the final FCC rules must be submitted
- March 10, 2011: First FCC-organized workshop to address database operation, consistency and compliance and to schedule official trials
- April 24, 2011: Earliest possible date for administrator commercial service availability. White Spaces go live.
